What personality color am I?




My current project is based on surmising essential reads and formatting it into digestible and short YouTube videos. This was born out of the fact I am not reading anywhere near as much as I used to - this layers on an additional level of commitment to read at least one book a month. I thought I would start with something that always interested me - personality. According to DISC theory there are four types of personalities out there -  I have created a quiz you can do below to show you which type - or rather color - you are. Check it out below.

Instructions:
  • On a row by row basis identify the word you feel is best used to describe you. 
  • In each row assign 4, 3 , 2 or 1 point to each word in a row - with 4 being the word most like you and 1 being the word you would least use to describe yourself.
  • So for example each row should have a total of 10 and the grand total of all columns should add to 50.
  • An example follows:

Now, fill out the below:




Divide the total number of each column by 60 to work out the splits of your personality - your highest score is your predominant social style. 

If you scored highest in Column 1 you are a red or a dynamo
If you scored highest in Column 2 you are a yellow or a entertainer
If you scored highest in Column 3 you are a green or a diplomat
If you scored highest in Column 4 you are a blue or a analyst

I appreciate the fact you might want to know a bit around your personality styles, so I have included some additional information below so you can have a little read about yourself ahead of the videos that will be released! Please note, no personality colour is better than another - each have their own unique set of strengths and weaknesses. 

Some interesting tidbits of information:
  • Greens are the most common personality colour - but if they are kindness personified why is the world such a dark place?
  • Reds are the rarest of the personality colours - probably a good thing really...
